Policy For Admission
Eligibility
45% marks in the aggregate of the qualifying Examination for admission to LL.B. 1st class. Minimum eligibility for admission to the LL.B. 1st year (0.252)As per provision of Ord. 252 of the University of Rajasthan only such candidates who have passed the Bachelor's or Master Degree examination with the required marks in aggregate shall be eligible for admission to the LL.B. 1st year class. No concession on any ground whatsoever is admissible in the said rule
1. A candidate who has taken the Bachelor's or the Master's Degree in Arts / Commerce / Science /Engineering / Nursing / Agriculture or the Degree of Shastri / Acharya or the Degree of Ayurvedacharya / Ayurveda Brihaspati of University of Rajasthan or of any other University recognized for the purpose by the syndicate of the University of Rajasthan with full course prescribed for the Degree and secured a minimum of 45% marks and minimum of 60% in case of student coming from university situated out of Rajasthan (excluding any confessional marks) in the aggregate marks prescribed for the examination for the aforesaid degree shall be eligible for admission of LL.B. First year class.
N.B. 1. For the purpose of this Ordinance the marks of only those subject papers shall be taken into account which had been considered for a a ,ton at the Bachelor's i Master's Degree e.xamination.
2. Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination with full course in one attempt or in parts or as private candidate or by correspondence will also be eligible for admission to the LL.B. First year class provided they secure the minimum percentage of marks as prescribed above.
Note : From the session 1994-95 candidates who have obtained a Bachelor's Degree of 10+2+3 pattern only or those who have passed one year Graduate Bridge Course Examination after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree of 10+1+3+ or 10+2+2 pattern shall be considered eligible for admission.
Explanation
Provided that it said not apply in the case of such candidates as have passed their graduation examination prior to the academic session of 1991-92 and they will also have option to clear the pre PG.-Bridge Course for seeking admission or to or elsewhere. (Academic Council Res. No. 18-19 April 94 & Syndicate Res. No. 9 dt 18-7-94).
Explanation If the candidate has not secured minimum marks and there is any deficiency of 1/2 or 1 mark 'twill not be condoned in admitting any such student.
1. Provided further that the condition of obtaining a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying examination shall not apply to the natural born sons / daughters of parents belonging to Scheduled caste /Scheduled tribe.
2. Concession / Weightage of marks for participation in games and sports as applicable to seeking admission student in degree classes shall be given to students seeking admission in LL.B First Year class provide that these marks shall not added to make up them eligible
3. The Candidates who want admission subsequent to their passing of any other examination of which result is not declared before the last date fixed can apply provisionally
Admission Peocedure
1. A candidate shall apply for admission on the prescribed form.
2. At the time of submitting his application form, the application must furnish attested copies of all documents i.e. Marks - Sheet. T.C. (Original) and other certificates. The Original must be produced for verification at the time of admission. Unattested Photostat copies of certificates and mark-sheets etc. Shall not be accepted.
3. No Weightage / Concession shall be given to a candidate who has not attached his original certificates along with the application form for admission at the time of verification.
4. The applicant shall give an undertaking that if any of the certificates submitted by him / her is found incorrect his / her admission shall be liable to be cancelled.
5. Admission may be refused to any student by the competent authority without assigning any reason there of.
6. A) Student shall not be eligible for admission to LL.B. 1st year class unless they have passed the qualifying examination of the University or any other examination recognised for the purpose such other qualification (if any) as may be prescribed by the Ordinances.
B) 1. Any Candidate against whom an F.I.R. has been lodged by the University of Rajasthan or any of the Constituent Authority/Officer of the University/College shall not be eligible for admission a regular candidate in this Institution.
2. Any person who has been convicted of a criminal offence involving moral turpitude shall not be eligible for admission in the college.
7. No student shall be admitted to LL.B. Ist year class unless he has deposited the necessary fee (admission, tuition and other) All fees will be charged for 12 months even from those who are admitted late during the session for whatever reason. Fees once paid shall not be refunded except that caution money deposit will be refundable after clearance of dues. if any. when claimed, within three sessions of leaving the College.
Admission of Supplementary Candidates
(1) A candidate who is declared eligible to appear at the Supplementary Examination may be provisionally admitted, at his own risk, to the next higher class in the beginning of the session by the last date fixed for admission subject to condition mentioned in clause
(2) below.
(2) A candidate who fails or absents himself at his supplementary examination shall have no right to continue in the college.
9. Reservation concession and weight age All Reservation/ Concession/ Weight age shall be regulated by the universities Ordinances.
Enrollment
No one shall be admitted to any examination of the university unless enrolled as a student of the University. The enrollment fee shall be Rs. 75/- and shall be paid once only irrespective of the number of times the candidate appear at examination of the university or weather he/she appears as a regular student or an ex-student of any affiliated college of the University or as a private candidate. (0.89 & 90).
Migration
In the case of student who takes a Migration Certificate to Join another University, his membership of the University shall lapse until such time as he may subsequently return with a Migration Certificate from the other University. No enrollment in such case shall, however, be necessary.Provided that this lapse of membership shall not debar a student from appearing at an examination in an additional optional subject for a degree already taken in the university (0.91)
Attendance
The expression regular course of study means attendance required to be put in by a candidate in the lectures, and practical.In no case relaxation is given for appearing in the examination where the student has not completed 75% attendance.
Examinations
(1) Examination are conducted according to to syllabus prescribed for the LL.B course and the Ordinances, Rules and Regulations in force. Students are advised to purchase a copy of Syllabus of the course and to acquaint theme selves with the rules and regulations.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in these ordinances. a candidate shall in no case be permitted to appear at two main examinations of the University simultaneously in the same year.
Revaluation
A candidate who wishes to apply for revaluation of his answer books (s) should submit an application on the prescribed form obtainable on payment of Rs. 5/- together with the require fee to Registrar, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur before the expiry of 30 days happens to be a holiday the next working day shall be the last date 10.157.A(3)]..
